mr. and mrs. are ready for christmas

we already shared our cute little tree
but i wanted to show some more of our little home
mom...here is what i was talking about
i started with lots of dots....
i may have gone over board
and made us a little home made garland
i think it looks just perfect in our little home
it turned out a little better than expected and didn't take long at all
here is a close up
too bad the papers tend to rotate
maybe i should have used double sided paper...oh well
thank you pinterest for a cute christmas printable that matched our blue frame
i was on a tight decor budget this year so a free printable was just the perfect solution
here is our "mantel" all complete. i love how it turned out
i told spence that where ever we move next we need to get a shelf just like this
thanks barfuss fam for the great taipan gift card
i've been eying those trees for some time and was so excited to be able to get them
good thing we still love our stockings.
one year i'll get around to making some but for now our little diy love last year still looks great
my most favorite thing...
our nativity from jerusalem
what a present this was
not only does it bring back wonderful memories of my semester in jeru it is the perfect and most beautiful way to remind ourselves of the true meaning of the season
it adds a great spirit to our home
this year the mr. and i are on a tight budget
so we decided to do a 12 days of christmas activity style to get ourselves in the spirit
here is our list
we are having a blast and already feeling the christmas spirit
and of course....
what newlyweds would we be without our mistletoe hanging in the perfect spot for us two love birds
and yes...i still like to consider us newlyweds!!!

the b. household is super excited for christmas
come over and have some hot coco with us
because lets be honest....
the mr.'s coco loco was pulled out over a month ago and he is always dying to use it!
