My Day of Red

So today has been one of the best of my BYU experience. Long story short I decided to wear my Utah sweatshirt in hopes I could talk to a guy in my New Testament class. I've worn some of my Utah stuff before but usually under a coat or something just because it's been cold. Well today I put on my favorite sweatshirt that proudly displays the Utah logo! There was no denying what I was wearing. I made it through my first few classes with no excitement. I almost forgot that I was wearing a Utah sweatshirt until one of my math buddies made a comment. Well the sweatshirt was a success, after two and half months I finally talked to the boy in my New Testament class (the reason I have wanted to talk to him is because he is a Utah fan as well) well wearing the red helped break the ice. After my classes I again forgot what I was wearing. I went about my usual activities which includes my couple of hours in the BYUSA office. Can I just tell you, walking into the BYUSA office in a red Utah sweatshirt is something very few do. I got a lot of weird looks walking through the office. I finally got to the SHA office and I got a huge high five from one of the ED's and some gross faces from other ones. It was very entertaining to say the least! After that I had so many people stop and ask me about my sweatshirt, it was awesome! I am officially a red in the blue and I couldn't be happier! I have a feeling I'll be wearing more red around campus!!!
