Lesson #70

Lesson #70- There are somethings I'll never learn....

Megs and Matt came home at around 8ish and decided they needed food. I had had a long day and decided a trip to the store might be a good thing. We bundled up because it's basically -50 degrees here in Provo (remind me why I like Utah??). Anyways we picked up a friend of Matts who needed to go to the store as well and so while the two boys were shopping Megs and I decided to walk around. We got to the produce section and started talking about apples. Anybody who knows me well knows I'm allergic to apples...at least I was 15 years ago when I had my last apple. Standing in front of the apples I couldn't resist the urge to bit into one and so......thats just what I did. Well after I bought an apple and took it home first.

All my roommates stood and watched as I took a bite of an apple for the first time since I can remember. It was hilarious seeing their reactions. Well the outcome.....still alergic, but not as bad. At first my mouth started to feel numb so I quickly took a drink of milk and started eating anything that was in front of me. It seemed to work! My throat is just fine now! I think I might be a little more open minded about apples from here on out....well we'll see. I do have pictures but I didn't have time to upload them so next time I'll post pictures. I guess it's about time I learn that I really am alergic to apples....or maybe I'll never learn ;-)
