100 posts!!!! Yay!!!!

So for my 100th post I figure I'll tell you all a very entertaining ironic story....

I'm beginning to think that my life should be a movie. I usually don't post much about my dating life...manly because it's back and forth and up and down, but on Saturday I had the most amazing/awkward experience I just had to share. For the past 4ish months I have been kinda dating this boy Ben. I say kinda because...well it's a long story...but it's one of those up and down things. Anyways recently things haven't been going to best for the two of us, which is okay, but on Friday we both went on this SHA retreat. The SHA retreat I'll save for another retreat but here is the part that helps this story out....

I was determined not to give Ben all of my time. While at the Lodge I met this boy name Chad. The night was spent playing games and running around. Ben was acting a little weird all night so I played with other people. Half way through the night Chad and I ended up in the same room (we were "killed" at the same time playing Mafia). Well we started talking and talking and talking.... half way through the night Ben walked in and found as just sitting there talking. He said hi and walked right out of the room...oh well! So basically I spent the whole night talking to this kid I just met. It was no big deal but really fun. Well as we were talking Chad found out I loved musicals. He told me he had tickets to BYU's musical on Saturday and asked if I wanted to come with him. Of course I said yes, I could never turn down a musical!

Saturday came and I kinda expected to hear from Ben...no such luck. Chad came and got me for the musical and we decided to get dinner first. Chad told me he wanted to take me to his favorite place in Provo, Sammy's a cute little diner. Ironically enough Ben works at Sammys. On the way to the diner I prayed Ben wouldn't be work....to my luck he wasn't!

Well Chad and I ordered, sat, and ate! We were almost done when I looked out the window and saw Ben's roommate walking into Sammys with a date. I pretended to not see him. He walked right on by not noticing me....yay! To second's later I hear Chad shout "BEN!!". Yep thats right....Ben walked in with a date right after his roommate. And to my luck Ben and Chad are new best buddies. Ben walked over to us and the only thing he said was "Wow well isn't this just a repeat of last night!". It may not sound like it but this was one of the most awkward moments of my life. I never expected to run into the guy I've been "kinda" dating while I was on a date with someone else.... gotta love the small worldness of Provo!

It's been two days and I still haven't heard from Ben...I guess it was an awkward experience for both of us...anyways when I got home that night I just had to tell my roommates. Alison started laughing and made the comment that my life is like a movie! I guess if you're into awkward embarrassing moments my life would make a great movie! Well thats about it....I just thought for my 100th post I should tell a story that pretty much defines my life....yep I live a life of ironic moments! And I love it!
