"have you ever thought about...why the tax is high?"

life in jeru is great
even better when you have an 18 hour old baby boy in your arms

there is a maternity hospital just down the street from the center. they let the "mormon" students come help feed the babies in the afternoons.

tuesday bod, me and mason were able to go. after waiting for them to get the babies ready the cute nurse handed me the most beautiful thing i've ever seen.

this cute one was only 18 hours old. mason was able to feed his twin. he was a stubborn little guy and didn't want to eat much so we had fun playing with the bottle.

looking down at this sweet little boy i couldn't help but smile as i realized how close he is to our heavenly father. a second later a small pang of sadness came over me as i realized the world this boy had to grow up in. my prayers are with him and his twin sister. may they find joy and happiness in this world of war and hate. our heavenly father is watching over them.

an hour later we walked home. i didn't want to leave this perfect little boy behind.
this has been the highlight of my trip! i can't wait till i get this chance again.
i love my little israeli baby boy.

  3. It feels like yesterday that Jack was that tiny. And now look at him! It really is such a blessing to see babies and realize where we come from and what we are trying to get back to. I'm so glad you got this opportunity - how fun! And when you get home, Jack will be happy to let you hold him, so don't be too sad!
