rewind to high school
ginger sent me this commercial because the song at the end reminded her of me....
so back in high school lo, meh, dru-b and i all fell in love with this song...da dip by freak nasty. anyways at one stomp we were the only four there at the beginning and so we requested it. the dj's looked at us all weird because 1. we were four girls dressed up in 80's clothes 2. the song is an old one and 3. there was no one else there....
but they were nice and put it on. this song will always take me back to that stomp, st george and lo's house...all with my girls.
i am sure lucky to have had such great girl friends in high school and to still say they are my best friends today.
i sure hope you remember da dip...if not it's a hilarious song to dance with with your girl friends!

i put my hand up on your hip and when i dip, you dip, we dip! (at least i think thats how it goes) - haha! so funny! i had a really good friend in high school who LOVED that song and this post just made me smile :) high school memories are always some of the best.
