Because We Can....

I finally took pictures yesterday at FHE. Our apartment was put in charge and so we decided to do something low key and fun. We started playing this hilarious game, basically you start out with a sentence and take turns drawing pictures and writing new sentences. Imagine the "telephone" game with pictures and writing and yep thats it. It turned out to be a really fun game. I'm not going to lie....15 college students playing stupid "telephone" games is a sight to be seen. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! After the game we made and decorated sugar cookies. I got to wear the apron mom got me for the first time. I felt like a mom in the 50's I loved it! Well after FHE we still had a ton of cookies left over and so Megs, Carli and I decided to decorate some for our friend Nate Benham and his apartment. (Story about Nate...I met Nate this summer during EFY. We worked on the variety show together. The whole summer he pretended to hate me because I am from Bountiful and I would tell him that he was just jealous and that he would one day fall in love with me. Well turns out that Nate is in our ward! Crazy small world here in Provo.
Nate has some way fun roommates and his apartment and our apartment have become great friends!) Wow long explanation. Anyways we made them cookies and decided to stop by and visit and share the cookie love. When we got there Nate's roommate Adrian asked us why we made cookies and our reply....because we can! I've decided that thats my new life theme..."Because I can". Why not make cookies for fun boys....why not go party with the girls....why not take the LSAT (which I'm doing by the way...I'm so excited!!!)...why not enjoy life and all it gives!!! So thats my goal for this week!

Last of all....I've been walking through the bookstore the last week or so and I always stop by the Halloween section. Well yesterday I decided to actually buy some fun Halloween things. I got this super cute "trick or treating" bowl and some amazing Halloween candy and filled the bowl as a "Happy Almost October" present for my roomies! Yay for the coming holidays!

  1. Sydney--I hope you don't mind me reading your blog. I LOVE hearing about BYU and will have to relive my experience there vicariously through you because I'm pretty sure none of my daughters will make it down there! It sounds like you are super happy and doing amazing and fun things. Keep up the good work!!
