yum...

so i actually love to bake
i hate how much time it takes but i love it non-the less
my favorite is making yummy treats that others love

my classics...
snickers cookies
oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
and snickers brownies

i bet you can guess what my favorite candy bar is

anyways, i'm going to make the snickers brownies for a family reunion today so i thought i'd share the love
check out this super easy recipe

1 German chocolate cake mix

3/4 C. melted butter

2/3 C. sweetened condensed milk

1 large bag Snickers

Mix cake mix with melted butter and condensed milk. Spread out 1/2 of the
mixture into a 9 x 13 pan.

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Slice the snickers into little slices. Lay these on top of the baked crust.

With the remaining batter crumble it on top of the candy bars. It will have a crumbly texture. No need to spread it on top to make it smooth. Put it back into the oven and bake it at 350° F. for 20 min.

give it a try and let me know what you think

  1. so - i totally want to try this recipe...but quick clarification (and possibly a stupid question). where does the crubmly texture come from? i mix the cake mix with the milk/butter, smooth out half in the pan, then put all the snickers on top, and then...how do i get the "crumble-ness" on top? sorry - just wanted to be sure before i attempted these delicious-sounding treats! thanks!
